For the 2026 Heritage Days in Paris, Saint-Sulpice Church invites you to discover all of its secrets on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026. An opportunity to rediscover this Left Bank treasure.

Every year, the season of Heritage Days sparks excitement as the event returns, offering a chance to discover numerous monuments and museums in a new light, thanks to guided tours and activities for all — and free!

For the 43rd edition of Europe’s Heritage Days in Paris, the Saint-Sulpice Church opens its doors and its mysteries to visitors with brand-new tours on September 19 and 20, 2026.

Located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, this church has been listed as a historic monument since 1915. Although construction began in 1646, it took almost two centuries to complete in 1870. It was here that Victor Hugo and his wife, Adèle Foucher, were married. It's the largest church in Paris and one of the most famous, emblematic of the Saint-Germain district.

Built on a small medieval sanctuary, the church's elegant classicalarchitecture is a sight to behold. It contains numerous works of art, including murals by Eugène Delacroix, a large Cavaillé-Coll organ and an astronomical gnomon.
