The Heritage Days are back for a 43rd edition, on September 19 and 20, 2026. An edition packed with discoveries and delightful strolls, offering a chance to glimpse and savor the treasures of our shared heritage that lie all around us. Museums, monuments, places of worship, shops and workshops, parks and train stations... A great many sites participate in the event. Even schools!
In Paris and Île-de-France, prestigious schools are opening their doors to the curious during the Journées du Patrimoine weekend. A case in point is the Collège Condorcet, located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.
This school, formerly known asthe "Petit Lycée Condorcet", is linked to the Lycée Condorcet. The "Petit Lycée" was a school for pupils from CP to CM2, who were destined to enter the lycée. In the 19th and 20th centuries, lycée studies were less common, and therefore considered prestigious. At the Petit Lycée, young students were trained to enter the Lycée Condorcet. Since then, the 8th arrondissement school has become a collège.
Discover this school with its ancient history, and take advantage of the special events planned for the Journées du Patrimoine in Paris.
