On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the Camille-Lambert school and contemporary art space and the Maison de Banlieue et de l'Architecture are offering a two-voice tour followed by a workshop around the sensitive orientation table Dans les yeux de Badine by artist Édouard Sautai.
Dans les yeux de Badine is a work for the public space, inviting us to take another look at the urban and everyday landscape. Whether near or far, large or small, the artist has not established any rules for selecting what he has chosen to include on this sensitively oriented reading table: incongruous objects, incredible architectural stories, insignificant details, monuments, etc. This exploration has given rise to an open ring of images. The result of this exploration is an open ring featuring reworked photographs, observational drawings, texts and captions that reveal what is ultimately not very visible... a kind of revelation of the landscape.
After a landscape reading, children and parents are invited to create a collective map, combining different techniques: observational drawing, collage and rubbing. This creative time allows them to appropriate the work and reflect on their environment.
* 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for children aged 6 and over
* Family workshop - from 6 years old
* Materials supplied

Let us guide you through the exhibition"Et voilà le travail, une histoire sociale et urbaine du travail en banlieue", to discover how work has shaped the Parisian suburbs, from their agricultural origins to the present day.
The exhibition is conceived as a mosaic, tracing a historical, social and urban landscape. It aims to provide the keys to understanding the diversity, transformations and specific features of a territory largely shaped by work.
Work plays a major role in the organization of our lives, from the household to the territory. The Paris suburbs were born of industrialization: factories, housing estates and workers' housing estates were built on the outskirts of Paris, along the new railroads, on previously agricultural land. Since then, it has undergone profound social and urban changes, such as the rise of logistics and the migration of the most modest workers to the suburbs. From the inner suburbs of Val-de-Marne to the outer suburbs of Essonne, this exhibition draws a historical landscape to help us understand the specific features of an area largely shaped by work.
Guided tour of the exhibition "**Et voilà le travail, une histoire sociale et urbaine de travail en banlieue**", followed by an art workshop for young and old.
