The Musée Aéronautique et Spatial Safran is taking part in the 42nd edition of the Journées du Patrimoine, on Saturday September 20 and Sunday September 21, 2025. This private museum presents its unique collection of over 100 aircraft, rocket and helicopter engines, most of which have been restored by the Association des Amis du Musée Safran (aircraft engines) or by former SEP employees (rocket engines).
This little-known museum in Seine-et-Marne was created in 1989. It was born out of an agreement signed between the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace and Snecma: the agreement stipulates that Snecma can restore aircraft engines from the Musée du Bourget. When the museum has a duplicate of one of these models, Snecma can recover it for display in its own museum. Over the years, the Safran Aerospace Museum has acquired aircraft, helicopter and rocket engines, landing gear, drones, aircraft equipment, and a complete collection of Gnôme and Rhône motorcycles.
These impressive machines can be admired during the Heritage Days. For this cultural weekend for the curious, the Safran Museum has planned numerous activities for the whole family.
Several concerts given by Safran group musicians.
Exhibition of historical and current equipment from the Safran group (aerospace, motorcycles).
A great weekend of discovery for all aviation enthusiasts!
