From Friday, November 7 to Sunday, November 9, 2025, the MAS, the performance hall in the town of Le Mée-sur-Seine located at 800 Avenue de l'Europe, will host the 29th edition of the gastronomy fair. The three-day program includes cooking competitions for professionals and amateurs, exhibitors, cooking demonstrations, and a friendly atmosphere that attracts between 5,000 and 6,000 visitors each year. The event is organized in partnership withthe Académie nationale de cuisine, an association founded in 1977 that promotes the culinary arts and organizes numerous competitions throughout France.
Once again this year, the fair promises wonderful gourmet discoveries for all types of visitors. The event begins on Friday, November 7, at 2 p.m., with an official opening ceremony scheduled for 6 p.m. in the presence of Franck Vernin, Mayor of Le Mée-sur-Seine and President ofthe Melun Val de Seine Agglomeration, as well as Serge Durand, First Deputy Mayor and fair coordinator, accompanied by the Chefs of the National Academy of Cuisine. Starting on Saturday morning at 10 a.m., the Cooking and Table Arts Competition will be in full swing. Live on stage and broadcast on big screens, every twenty minutes we will discover the preparations of students from the region's hotel schools. Working in pairs, they will present a poultry dish cooked with a basket of ingredients. The culinary show is well worth seeing and gives you the opportunity to watch these young talents, who represent the future of French gastronomy, at work. The students participating in the competition will be rewarded at the Jacques Durand Trophy awards ceremony on Saturday at 6 p.m. This recognition represents an important step in their training.
Sunday afternoon promises to be particularly lively with the arrival of Miss Seine-et-Marne 2025, Tahera Guilloteau. The 21-year-old from Combs-la-Ville, who is studying political science and was elected last May in Montereau-Fault-Yonne, will be doing us the honor of attending. She will be visiting the stands and happily posing for photos with visitors. The day will end with a much-anticipated gourmet moment, the award ceremony for the 3rd Île-de-France best macaron competition, organized with the Maison de la Boulangerie de Seine-et-Marne. This competition, which brings together the region's best pastry chefs from 5:30 p.m. onwards, is an opportunity to discover the sweet creations that have made the Île-de-France region's gastronomy so famous. The jury met on Tuesday, November 4, at the Town Hall to decide between the competitors, and the awards ceremony brought the show to a spectacular close.

A dining area allows visitors to enjoy the food they purchase from exhibitors in a friendly atmosphere. This area is even larger this year, allowing everyone to sit comfortably and savor their discoveries.
Admission to the fair is free, allowing everyone to come and discover these culinary treasures. The organizers wanted to make this event accessible to as many people as possible, in the spirit of sharing and conviviality that characterizes French gastronomy.
