Doctor Strange Mystical Mysteries at Disneyland Paris: our review of the magical show

At Disneyland Paris, theDoctor Strange: Mystical Mysteriesshow is back to dazzle you! Since October 25, 2025, this show atAvengers Campus in Walt Disney Studios has been offering a total immersion in the Marvel multiverse, combining illusions, spells, and special effects. The idea? To immerse the audience in the mystical arts, alongside Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch, facing Agatha Harkness. An experience designed for fans of superheroes and the Marvel universe looking for a magical show at Disneyland Paris.

As for the show, here's what the park has in store for you on the rooftops of the Spider-Man WEB Adventureattraction after dark: "An epic battle where Doctor Strange and the Scarlet Witch must combine their talents to ward off the threat of a strange occult power," according to a tweet from Disneyland Paris.

Our opinion on Doctor Strange: Mystical Mysteries at Avengers Campus:

We were eagerly awaiting this show... But is Doctor Strange: Mystical Mysteries any good? Well, we weren't disappointed... The show gets straight to the point with F.R.I.D.A.Y. announcing that a magical force "from beyond" is contaminating the campus, accompanied by the ballad of the witches heard in the series Agatha All Along. This sets the tone right away, without any fuss.

Then Doctor Strange arrives... In terms of special effects, it's pretty well done—given the resources available—as the mapping of the opening of a mystical portal, followed by the appearance of the sorcerer, works coherently. The mapping effects are quite well thought out, revealing the spells cast by Doctor Strange and the Scarlet Witch. We particularly appreciate the use ofthe Eye of Agamotto to generate a shield around a crate, which is rather well done, along with the lights on the actors' hands, whose color corresponds to the magic used.

There are also pyrotechnic effects, with a few fireworks launched, mainly to express the power of the spells, such as those cast by the Scarlet Witch. Although there are few of them (not necessarily consistent with the use of spells), they are quite pleasant to watch, creating a surprise effect each time. The French-English aspect, so that all visitors can understand, also works well and allows everyone to understand what is going on.

The only downside is that we would have liked the show to last a little longer, but the cold winter weather and the static position don't necessarily allow visitors to stand for too long (especially keeping children focused and still enough to enjoy it). A dynamic, very enjoyable and family-friendly show that should appeal to all fans of the Master of Mystic Arts, the Red Witch andAgatha Harkness. In any case, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

As a reminder, the show was announced at the press conference dedicated to new developments for 2024, held on April 12, 2024 (which we were able to attend). All we learned was that Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch would be at the heart of a show at Avengers Campus and that it would begin in the fall. This show is sure to delight fans of the MCU's sorcerers (and we are definitely among them). Ready to dive into the mystical arts? We can't wait!
