Since 1989, Maison Morin has been a symbol of artisanal excellence and a passion for taste in Barbizon. Renowned for its refined creations and in-house expertise, the establishment constantly evolves to delight and surprise its clientele. Today, it reaches a new milestone with the addition of Emma André, a pastry chef already celebrated for her talent, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. "We’re truly pleased by the enthusiasm our customers have shown for our new offerings. The feedback has been incredible, and it genuinely warms our hearts," says the team.

In Barbizon, a village in the Seine-et-Marne department not far from Fontainebleau or Dammarie-les-Lys, Maison Morin is a local craftsman's must. It offers a wide range of homemade preparations (sweet and savoury) and favours local and Seine-et-Marne sourcing.

Maison Morin: a family history

In just four years, Victorien Morin has relentlessly pursued his efforts to develop and modernize the family business: first, the boutique was completely transformed from floor to ceiling, and then construction began on a production laboratory of over 100 m², located just behind it, to meet the ever-increasing demands for quality and creativity. These investments have enabled Victorien to strengthen his team, with the recruitment of three additional employees since the work was completed.

A modernized home

Today, the Maison is taking a new step forward with the arrival of Emma André, a pastry chef with a proven talent. Trained at the prestigious Ferrandi school, Emma went on to obtain a "mention complémentaire" in chocolaterie, glacerie and confectionery. She perfected her art alongside Nina Métayer, a leading figure in French pastry-making, developing a keen sense of detail and aesthetics.

" I knew right away that I had to trust him," says Victorien Morin. "I did what was necessary to give him total creative freedom. Of course, it's still a team effort, because you can't make progress alone, so I did the same with Benjamin in the kitchen."

It's by uniting talents that we create great things. There are still passionate young people out there who deserve our support.
