This church remained in existence until it was destroyed by fire in 2000. Architects Jean-Pol Hindré and Jean-Claude Riguet were commissioned by the Diocese of Créteil to build a new edifice. The materials used were glass, wood, metal, brick and concrete. The church opens like a scallop shell from north to south. Its baptistery is a vat acquired by Madeleine Delbrêl (1904-1964) and used by Spanish refugees to produce Turron.
