Journées du Patrimoine 2025 in Kremlin Bicêtre (94): program of events

Every autumn, the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days ) are held to delight the passionate and the curious, with a fabulous program of visits, often free of charge, and original events to help us discover our heritage treasures. The event is sure to attract Parisians of all ages, with a host of cultural bargains on offer. In Paris and the Ile-de-France region, museums, monuments, churches, châteaux and even ministries, embassies and major institutions open their doors to reveal their secrets. A rare opportunity not to be missed!

The City of Light unveils a broad program for this event, which returns on the weekend of September 19-20, 2026 for its 43rd edition. But the region that surrounds it is not left out: the entire Île-de-France is joining the Heritage Days celebrations.

If you’re in the Val-de-Marne area Val-de-Marne or simply want to uncover the treasures of Île-de-France, you’ll find, in what locals call the inner ring of Paris, the Kremlin-Bicêtre, readily accessible by public transport. It unveils its special program for the Heritage Days 2026.

  This site, emblematic of military history and today home to the Defence Digital Office, stands as a unique heritage landmark, bearing witness to the evolution of defense infrastructures.

  Throughout the weekend, guided tours will be offered, allowing visitors to discover the site's history and architecture, along with a virtual-reality reconstruction of the German hospital located in the fort’s underground levels.

  In addition, local association presentations, sports taster sessions and fun activities will energize these two days.
