The Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) are one of the highlights of September. Museums, churches, châteaux, libraries, gardens and even places closed to the public, such as major institutions, ministries and embassies, are among the many addresses taking part in this exceptional weekend, enabling everyone to find a program to suit their passion.
Across the Paris region, everyone is joining in for the Heritage Days, as they celebrate their 43rd edition this year. Typically the event takes place on the third weekend of September. So mark your calendars for the 19 and 20 September 2026 to enjoy this essential cultural outing.

For European Heritage Days, the eco-museum is lining up surprises to rediscover the exhibition “Tournée Générale!”. Highlights include guided tours with tastings of non-alcoholic cocktails and waiter races.
The artist Malo Patron will also be present in the exhibition “Écrire la Bièvre” to present his work from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Fresnes Town Hall
Digital treasure hunt to discover Fresnes' heritage, with Baludik
On the occasion of European Heritage Days, a special issue of Panorama, the local Fresno newspaper, is about to roll off the presses. Follow the map through the streets of Fresnes to build the pages of the chronicle, thanks to a route crafted by Baludik! This digital scavenger hunt, available to download for free, aims to raise public awareness of urban planning in action; it’s also a chance to share anecdotes and little-known facts about Fresnes’s heritage and to discover its current cultural facilities.
Starting from the town hall between 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. (1 Pl. Pierre et Marie Curie, 94260 Fresnes). Estimated duration: 1 hour 30 minutes.
A complimentary snack will be provided at the end of the route; meet at the Cottinville farm (41 rue Maurice Ténine, 94260 Fresnes) starting at 4:00 p.m.
