The Journées du Patrimoine is one of the highlights of September ! During this major cultural event, many of our heritage treasures reveal their secrets through a program of visits, events and workshops, often free of charge.
In Paris and throughout theÎle-de-France region, there are countless venues taking part in this event. Museums, monuments, châteaux, churches, or even places that are usually closed to the public, there's plenty to do to find a program to suit your interests, while filling up on cultural goodies.
Looking for something new? Well, the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days ) offer a host of exceptional tours every year. Several ministries take part in the ballet, much to the delight of those curious enough to take advantage of this rare opportunity.
Located in the Latin Quarter, in the heart of theformer École Polytechnique buildings, the Pavillon Boncourt currently houses the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. You'll then have the opportunity to enjoy the special program that awaits you there for the 42nd edition of the Journées du Patrimoine on the weekend of September 20 and 21, 2025.
