The Journées du Patrimoine is also the perfect time to take advantage ofexceptional openings in places that are usually closed to the public, including several ministries. These are often housed in sublime private mansions, whose secrets and treasures you can discover on this rare occasion.
This is how the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs welcomes you to the 42nd Heritage Days, scheduled for the weekend of September 20-21, 2025. Built in the mid-19th century, it is also nicknamed the Quai d'Orsay because of its position along the Paris river.
For the 42nd European Heritage Days, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) is opening its doors and inviting you to discover the Quai d'Orsay.
On the program: architectural heritage of diplomacy, animated exhibition "Diplomacy on a global scale, the art of cartography", discovery of the Ministry's missions and professions, meetings with agents, visits to the lounges, immersive listening to the Sources diplomatiques podcast, presentation of diplomatic archives, musical entertainment by the Garde républicaine...
The MEAE reserves the right to refuse access to certain participants, even if they have pre-registered.
