If you can't make it to theÉlysée Palace, the Senate or theNational Assembly during the Journées du Patrimoine, why not take a tour of the various ministries that open their doors for the occasion. And for the 42nd edition of the event, organized on September 20 and 21, 2025, many political establishments will be welcoming you with the aim of giving you a behind-the-scenes look at the workings of the ministries, with their ministers and various collaborators.
It's also a great opportunity to find out how the government works, and how it operates. Ministry of Justice, Ministry of the Armed Forces, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of the Economy, Matignon... So many facets of the governing team to discover, and perhaps to inspire a few vocations in the younger members of the family. Visits are also accompanied by numerous events and meetings.
The theme of this year's Journées du Patrimoine is"Architectural Heritage". As a preview, on Friday September 19, 2025, a number of events are planned for school groups, including "Raise your eyes" and "Les enfants du Patrimoine", in collaboration with the French Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The aim? To raise awareness among young people of the richness and preservation of our heritage. And a great opportunity for families to get out and about, free of charge!
