If you're in the Yvelines region, or if you'd like to discover the treasures of the 78 département, set out to conquer the Château de La Celle-Saint-Cloud, located in the town of the same name. Built at the end of the 18th century, this château, originally a monastery, is now the property of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Listed as a historic monument since 1978, its grounds are home to several sculptures by contemporary artists. Today, it hosts international conferences and provides accommodation for heads of state and foreign ministries.
