Association forums are in full swing this weekend throughout the Yvelines department. From Saturday September 6 to Sunday September 7, 2025, discover the program with over 35 communes opening their doors to local associations. These not-to-be-missed back-to-school events enable residents of all ages to discover a remarkable range of activities, from sport and culture to solidarity and education.
More than 35 communes are inviting residents to discover the diversity of cultural, sporting and community activities that make the heart of the region beat faster. This mobilization testifies to the richness of the Yvelines' associative fabric and the commitment of local authorities to promoting local life.
Most of the events will be held on Saturday, September 6. In Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, over 120 associations will be gathering at the Claude Fichot gymnasium from 10am to 6pm. The Forum will bring together over 120 associations. It's the perfect opportunity to register or re-register for your favorite activities and discover new ones.
In Chatou, Association Day takes place at the Île des Impressionnistes sports complex from 12pm to 6pm, with over a hundred associations covering all areas of activity. Visitors can talk to volunteers, get information and perhaps find a new activity or get involved as a volunteer. Note that Impressionist Lights also take place this weekend.
Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines offers a more compact format from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., whileAigremont holds its forum from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Maison des Associations, with activity demonstrations and open doors at the library.
Sunday, September 7 is no exception, with a host of major events. Carrières-sur-Seine is organizing a festive event from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the town hall park, with a wide range of family activities including chess, scrabble, wooden games, handball and badminton. The event also features a free workshop for marking bikes and scooters with the Bicycode system.
Meulan-en-Yvelines hosts its forum from 10am to 5pm at the gymnasium des Annonciades, with a catering area and foodtruck to delight visitors all day long. It's the perfect place for you or your child to find your activity, whether you're more interested in sport, culture or charity work.
The range of associations in the Yvelines is remarkably diverse. They cover all areas of interest: sport, culture, music, plastic arts, foreign languages, leisure activities, solidarity, the environment, education and citizenship.
Saint-Germain-en-Laye is organizing the second edition of its Grand Forum, with almost 180 stands organized into ten themed "villages": arts and culture, economy and training, international, health and solidarity, local and civic life, sports. This organization makes it easier for visitors to navigate according to their areas of interest.
Some forums offer special events. In Coignières, visitors can watch pigeon releases and discover fun games. Villepreux closes the day with a fire show at 9pm in the Théâtre de Verdure, in the town hall gardens.
Most forums offer on-site parking and catering. Many events are free and open to all, from youngsters to senior citizens. The associations present generally offer demonstrations, on-site registration and direct exchanges with volunteers.
To make things easier, the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines urban community has launched sqyassos.fr, a new portal dedicated to the region's associations. The site features a clearer, more ergonomic design, simplified procedures for applying for subsidies, an updated directory of local associations and resources to help associations get started.
