Transport in Paris and the Île-de-France enters the final week of the All Saints’ Day school holidays with a slightly less strained network. From Monday, October 26 to Sunday, November 1, 2026, Metro line 2 returns to its full route in northeastern Paris, but line 13 will be closed on the morning of Sunday, November 1, between Paris, Hauts-de-Seine and Seine-Saint-Denis.
The RER and Transilien are continuing their works, particularly in the evenings. Service disruptions are affecting the Yvelines, Val-d'Oise, Essonne, Seine-et-Marne, Val-de-Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis and Hauts-de-Seine.
After two Saturdays of protests and a week of partial curfew in central Paris, no strikes have been announced at RATP or SNCF this week. However, Line 7 will not stop at Sully-Morland from 9:30 a.m. this Tuesday as a safety measure, and a new Yellow Vest gathering is planned outside the National Assembly on Saturday, October 31. Checking Île-de-France Mobilités, RATP or Transilien SNCF before setting off is still a good habit, especially when returning from vacation. Here’s the breakdown, line by line.
On Saturday, October 31, 2026, the Yellow Vests coordination group is calling for a third Saturday of protests, an “Act III” announced on October 24. The Paris gathering is set for 2 p.m. outside the National Assembly, in the 7th arrondissement, with sit-ins planned outside several arrondissement town halls. The day before, a pots-and-pans concert is also scheduled outside the Palais Bourbon, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
At this stage, no route has been filed with the Paris Police Prefecture, which can still require a different location or ban certain areas, as it did on October 24. No station closures have therefore been confirmed. On the previous two Saturdays, however, the RATP closed more than twenty stations from the morning onward at the prefecture’s request.
If the gathering in front of the National Assembly goes ahead, several stations in the area risk closing for part of the day:
As for traffic, the Quai d’Orsay, the Pont de la Concorde and part of Boulevard Saint-Germain could be closed to cars, with bus diversions in place. The official orders are usually issued the day before or on the morning of the event: the list will be updated as soon as it is published on the RATP traffic information page. The rallying call is detailed in our article on the October 31 demonstration.
On Sunday, November 1, 2026, All Saints’ Day, the Line 13 is closed along its entire length until noon. These morning closures are intended to adapt the infrastructure ahead of the arrival of the new metro, the MF19, expected in 2027.
According to the schedule published by Bonjour RATP, a replacement bus runs between Asnières-Gennevilliers Les Courtilles and Porte de Clichy. On the rest of the route, line 14 takes over between Saint-Lazare and Mairie de Saint-Ouen, and the RER C also serves Porte de Clichy.
This Sunday morning is not the last of the year: Line 13 will close again until noon on November 15 and 29, then on December 13. All the dates are listed in our article on Line 13’s Sunday closures.
Good news for the 18th, 19th and 20th arrondissements: work on the elevated viaduct section of Line 2 was completed on Sunday, October 25. The seven stations closed since October 19, from La Chapelle to Ménilmontant, are reopening this week. Full details of the work are available in our article on Line 2.
As for nightlife, the partial curfew around Place de la République and Les Halles is in effect until 6 a.m. on Monday, October 26, under the latest known order. In recent evenings, access to République and Châtelet–Les Halles has been closed from 10 p.m. The situation is being tracked in our article on the curfew, in case the police prefecture extends the measure.
At Saint-Michel, the Odéon and Cité stations on Line 4 remain open, just a few minutes’ walk away. On Line 8, Strasbourg-Saint-Denis and Filles du Calvaire provide access to the 3rd, 10th and 11th arrondissements. On Tuesday, to reach the Sully-Morland area in the 4th arrondissement, Pont Marie remains open on Line 7, and Bastille (Lines 1, 5 and 8) is about a 10-minute walk away.
All five RER lines are affected, almost always in the evening. Several evening works are due to finish on Friday, October 30, particularly on the RER C and D.
More details on the A line’s website.
If you’re returning from vacation on a late weekday flight to Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport, consider taking a replacement bus or the Roissybus; check the RATP website for details. This work will not affect weekend services.
To get to Orly Airport in the evening, Metro line 14 remains the easiest option from central Paris. Follow live updates on our dedicated RER C page.
The weekend closures between Creil and Stade de France-Saint-Denis, scheduled every Saturday and Sunday in October, ended on October 25. The full schedule is available from Bonjour RATP, with real-time updates on our RER D information page.
This All Saints’ Day weekend marks the last of the service interruptions between Villiers-sur-Marne and Tournan, which have been in place every Saturday and Sunday since September 26. Follow the latest developments on our dedicated RER E page.
Four Transilien lines are experiencing disruptions this week. Evening services are particularly affected towards Mantes-la-Jolie and Versailles, while line P remains suspended at weekends towards Seine-et-Marne.

Replacement buses are planned on most of the railway sections that have been cut. Their stops and timetables appear in the apps of Île-de-France Mobilités, RATP and Transilien. The day-to-day state of the network can also be followed in our point quotidien sur le trafic.
