Ahead of its planned launch in early 2028, the future Tzen 5 bus line has just revealed the official names of its 19 stations between Paris and Choisy-le-Roi in Val-de-Marne. Here’s everything you need to know.

Following the Tzen 4, Île-de-France Mobilités is preparing to launch the Tzen 5, scheduled to enter service in early 2028. Billed as a “project to transform the urban landscape in the service of residents and rapidly changing areas”, the Tzen 5 is set to link Paris’s 13th arrondissement with Choisy-le-Roi along a 9.5-kilometer route.

Four municipalities will be served by this future bus line: the capital, as well as Ivry-sur-Seine, Vitry-sur-Seine and Choisy-le-Roi in Val-de-Marne, with a total of 19 stops. The 19 stops now officially have names. Île-de-France Mobilités announced the news on October 22. “The names of the 19 stops are official: landmarks inspired by neighborhoods, major roads and train stations to help you find your way,” the social media post reads. So, what names were chosen for these 19 stops?

Please note that some of these stops will offer connections to the RER C, Metro lines 14 and 15, tram lines T3a and T9, and the main bus routes TVM and 393.

With the launch of this “new Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line ”, described as “reliable, fast and regular”, Île-de-France Mobilités aims to offer passengers an alternative to the private car. Much more than just a bus line, the Tzen 5 could eventually carry up to 37,000 passengers a day.
