With a route of around 187km, RER C is the second longest line in the RER network(Réseau Express Régional d'Île-de-France). Introduced into service in 1979, RER C serves no fewer than 84 stops, crossing several departments of the Paris region: Yvelines,Essonne, Val-de-Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val d'Oise and, of course, Paris.
