The Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) are one of the highlights of September. In Paris and throughout theÎle-de-France region, a wide range of venues are taking part, offering a vast program of visits, events and workshops at the heart of our most beautiful monuments. Museums, churches, châteaux, libraries, gardens and even places closed to the public, such as major institutions, ministries and embassies, are among the many addresses taking part in this exceptional weekend, enabling everyone to find a program to suit their passion.
The whole Paris region gets into the swing of the Journées du Patrimoine , which are celebrating their 42nd edition this year. The date is usually set for the 3rd weekend in September. So, we've set the dates for September 20 and 21, 2025, to take advantage of this unmissable cultural event. Paris may be the center of attention, but the Ile-de-France region is also full of nuggets for you to discover! Nature is a human being like any other" theatrical tour
by the Sens Ascensionnels company
Set off on an immersive family walk in Fresnes, between town and green spaces, guided by 4 actors. This 1-hour stroll explores the relationship between nature and culture, from Cro-magnon to modern man 3.0.
Along the way, discover helmeted soundscapes retracing four different eras: prehistory, contemporary times, and two periods shaped by the local history of the site. These unique soundscapes, combined with live performances, offer a sensory and historical experience that questions our relationship with the land and nature.

Heritage Days 2025 at Saint-Eloi church in Fresnes
Presentation of the Fresnes-Buenafuente del Sistal organ (1768) by the Art de la fugue association: its journey from Spain to the church gallery and demonstration of the instrument.
Guided tour of the Saint-Eloi church: Open to all, no reservation is required for this tour, which will reveal unexpected and interesting aspects of the building, while evoking events from the history of Fresnes.
Access to the bell tower is also available.

L'École d'art(s) takes over the art center's footbridge for a group exhibition: Patrimoine vivant - entre architecture et nature. On this occasion, adult students from the sculpture, engraving, painting and drawing workshops present their work from the 2024-2025 season, based on the theme of the living world.
La passerelle, a transitional space between amateur and professional artistic expression, becomes a genuine meeting place for dialogue. It welcomes a wide variety of productions, both in terms of the techniques used and the way in which they look at the world.
The exhibition offers a sensitive and parallel reading of architecture - built, plant or organic - through the works. Through an interplay of scales, from the miniscule to the enlarged, the artists-in-training question our relationship with living things: natural forms reminiscent of human constructions, architectural structures inspired by plants, or hybridizations between nature and animals.
An invitation to take a fresh look at what surrounds us, through the lens of the visual arts.
Guided tour of the Recyclart exhibition on the theme of re-use and upcycling in contemporary art, with 5 artists who multiply the possible using the many scraps of industry and everyday human activity: Laurence Aellion, Maëlle de Coux, Laurent Gongora, Pascale Ract, Angèle Riguidel.
