A much-appreciated cultural event in France, the Journées du Patrimoine return on Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22, 2024 with a new, 41st edition, focusing on the themes of " Maritime Heritage " and " Heritage of Routes, Networks and Connections ".

Located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, a stone's throw from the esplanade des Invalides, the Embassy of Finland boasts architecture designed by Finnish architect Veli Paatela, and interior design by Antti Nurmesniemi and Yrjö Randell. What makes this embassy so special? The lamps suspended above the staircase, designed by Alvar Aalto and presented at the 1937 Paris Universal Exhibition.
