Calling all curious and passionate visitors, here comes the long-awaited September event: the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days). Over the course of an exceptional weekend, our most beautiful treasures are revealed to us, allowing us to rediscover our history, culture and know-how from every angle, through a program that is often free of charge.
Museums, monuments, castles, churches, libraries, embassies, ministries, hospitals and much more: every year, a wide range of sites take part, offering guided or self-guided tours, events, workshops and other surprises. Whether you're a couple, a family, a group of friends or on your own, there's something for everyone at the Journées du Patrimoine. We look forward to seeing you on the weekend of September 20 and 21, 2025, in Paris and throughout the Île-de-France region, for a 42nd edition that promises to be a great success.
Cultural institutes are also taking part in the Journées du Patrimoine, giving us the chance to travel to the four corners of the world from the capital and discover the heritage of different countries around the globe. In the Odéon district, in the heart of the 6th arrondissement, the Centre Tchèque is sharing the treasures of the Czech Republic with you, through a year-long program of events.
