Calling all curious and passionate visitors, here comes the long-awaited September event: the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days). Over the course of an exceptional weekend, our most beautiful treasures are revealed to us, allowing us to rediscover our history, culture and know-how from every angle, through a program that is often free of charge.
Museums, monuments, castles, churches, libraries, embassies, ministries, hospitals and much more: every year, a wide range of sites take part, offering guided or self-guided tours, events, workshops and other surprises. Whether you're a couple, a family, a group of friends or on your own, there's something for everyone at the Journées du Patrimoine. We look forward to seeing you on the weekend of September 20 and 21, 2025, in Paris and throughout the Île-de-France region, for a 42nd edition that promises to be a great success.
Cultural institutes are also taking part in the Journées du Patrimoine, giving us the chance to travel to the four corners of the world from the capital and discover the heritage of different countries around the globe. In the Odéon district, in the heart of the 6th arrondissement, the Centre Tchèque is sharing the treasures of the Czech Republic with you, through a year-long program of events. Find out what's in store this weekend!
Meet Czech designer Mimi Lan Nguyen on a guided tour: discover her artistic world and her Keep it Simple Stupid fashion collection.
As part of the European Heritage Days and Paris Fashion Week, we invite you to the exhibition of the joint project by Czech designer La Femme Mimi and photographer Wlasta Laura, Keep it Simple Stupid, in which the artists reinterpret traditional clothing and folk motifs.
As part of the exhibition by Czech designer La Femme Mimi and photographer Wlasta Laura, Keep it Simple Stupid, in which the artists reinterpret traditional clothing and folk motifs, we offer an embroidery workshop with the designer.
In her collections, La Femme MiMi likes to work with authentic folk garments, rich in traditional motifs and handcrafted embroidery. In this workshop, you'll learn basic embroidery stitches and how to apply them in a folkloric or modern style. Bring your favorite garment to decorate with embroidery!
What to bring: a garment (e.g. t-shirt, blouse, jacket, sweater...)
