During the Heritage Days, some museums and monuments are very popular. But other places are also worth a visit, such as lycées. Welcoming large numbers of students for 10 months of the year, some Parisian lycées are brimming with secrets and offer unique architecture. Such is the case of the Lycée Chaptal.

Nestled in the capital's 8tharrondissement , a stone's throw from Les Batignolles, the Lycée Chaptal was founded by educationalist and playwright Prosper Goubaux. As for its name, it refers to the French scientist, chemist, doctor and politician, whose first name was Jean-Antoine.
