The Journées du Patrimoine return to the Île-de-France region on the weekend of September 16 and 17, 2023, bringing with them a host of new experiences. How about an exceptional visit to the Paris Cultural Affairs Department reserves? Here's the program!

The Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) is theunmissable cultural event that punctuates the month of September in Paris and Île-de-France, much to the delight of art and history enthusiasts, as well as those curious enough to make some wonderful discoveries. Over the course of an exceptional weekend, local residents and tourists alike are invited to explore our heritage in a whole new light, through a fabulous program of visits, events and workshops, generally free of charge, in the heart of our most beautiful treasures. Every year, a wide range of venues take part: museums, monuments, châteaux, of course, as well as places that open their doors to us exceptionally, including ministries, embassies and even hospitals.

For this 40th edition, scheduled for the weekend of September 16 and 17, 2023, Paris is exceptionally opening the doors of the reserves of the city's Direction des Affaires Culturelles to us to discover its treasures.
