What better way to explore the capital and its region than during the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days), when you can discover a whole host of exceptional and little-known places? Every year, it's the perfect opportunity to get in on the cultural action, free of charge! On September 20 and 21, 2025, grab your Navigo and set off on a tour of our finest treasures, castles and monuments, or gardens if you prefer nature, for a weekend to remember!
It's an opportunity to come across some real curiosities, created for free spirits! In the Essonne region of France, one of these is nestled near Fontenay-lès-Briis, in the heart of the Jardin des divinités Païennes. This monumental sculpture park brings together nearly thirty years' worth of creations by artist Robert Le Lagadec, who has assembled fifteen metallic forms, known as Mégafers, in the middle of a meadow.
Inspired by his native Brittany, the creator of these shapes wished to"invent an artistic cult dedicated to primitive forces". Robert Le Lagadec passed away in 2022, leaving his mark engraved in metal. A participation in the Journées du Patrimoine pays homage to his work, where you can observe these wild, black statues with steel claws, as if plunged into a parallel world.
Sculpture park created by self-taught artist Robert LE LAGADEC, using construction materials. You'll be welcomed in a green setting.
