Libraries are also on board, and this 42nd edition, scheduled for the weekend of September 20 and 21, 2025, invites us to conquer one of the treasures of the Latin Quarter: the Sainte-Geneviève library. Located on the site of the former Montaigu colleague, it was founded in 1851 and is now a listed historic monument. It is an emblematic landmark of the university district, just a stone's throw from the Sorbonne.
Self-guided tour of the Sainte-Geneviève library building, built by Henri Labrouste and listed as a historic monument.
Access to the director's office and its museum exhibits, including the world's oldest astronomical desk clock. Librarians will be on hand all day to welcome you and talk about the building and their profession.
