Heritage Days 2025 in Corbeil-Essonnes, at the departmental fire and rescue center

For many of us, September means back to work or back to school... Fortunately, the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days ) are here to cheer us up and give us a weekend full of surprises and discoveries! Every year, on the third weekend in September, thousands of sites open their doors to the curious for two days of visits and events.

The aim of this major cultural event is to showcase France's known and hidden treasures to the general public. Museums and monuments, places of worship, historic buildings, relics of the past, department stores, ministries and Houses of Parliament, parks and gardens... It's impossible to get bored during these Heritage Days, with so many sites to visit!

Paris and the Île-de-France region are of course taking part in this special operation. More specifically, you can take a stroll around Corbeil-Essonnes, in the 91 region, and discover the departmental fire and rescue center. The Corbeil-Essonnes fire department is home to a small museum area that should fascinate children and adults alike. Come and visit us on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
