This year, we focus on a Parisian address that stands out from the crowd... Get ready for a real encounter with fakes at the Musée de la Contrefaçon, a veritable Parisian lair for the real and the fake. Hidden away in a private mansion in the 16th arrondissement, this unique museum invites you to come face-to-face with authentic objects and imitations. Founded in 1951 by Gaston-Louis Vuitton, this 200 m2, six-room temple to anti-counterfeiting presents a collection that will sharpen your eagle eye: bags, works of art, everyday products, everything is there to help you spot the clumsy copy or the most sophisticated counterfeit.
Behind its large wooden door, this confidential museum also reveals the secrets of its private mansion, where architecture and mythology go hand in hand for a visit that will leave no one unmoved.
