The Journées du Patrimoine, is the annual cultural event everyone looks forward to. Celebrated across France and throughout Europe, this flagship gathering is a real treat for the curious and culture lovers. The Journées du Patrimoine take place in Paris on 19 and 20 September 2026. As always, they invite the public to step inside places that are normally closed, to shine a light on architectural, artistic and historical heritage at the heart of daily life.

On this occasion, the Embassy of Peru, a grand townhouse listed as a historic monument, opens its doors to curious visitors and travel enthusiasts. Here you will discover a remarkable architecture, as well as the chancery offices, the reception rooms, and Peruvian works of art and sculptures. A multidisciplinary exhibition and cultural activities invite you to explore the building’s history, the diplomatic missions, and the richness of Peruvian culture.

Access is free, by reservation, in groups every 30 minutes. Note that the embassy will only be open on Saturday, July 19 — don’t miss this opportunity! Reserve your tickets now.
