Do you know this enchanting place just a few kilometers from Paris? The roseraie du Val-de-Marne, located in the town of L'Haÿ-les-Roses, is the world's very first garden devoted entirely to roses. A colorful and stunning site, built in 1894, which today counts more than 11,000 roses and nearly 2,900 species and varieties of roses. In peak season, this garden is a true fairy-tale setting!
The Rose Garden opens its doors on September 19 and 20, 2026, for the new edition of the Heritage Days. During this discovery weekend, the rose garden is free for everyone! A handy tip for those looking to explore the treasures of Val-de-Marne, during this must-attend event that returns each autumn.
Come September, as autumn arrives, the rose season has usually ended. Flowers are scarce and the rose garden isn’t at its peak. But this garden special could still win you over with its greenery, its sculptures, and its romantic path. The place is worth a visit!
