The Journées du Patrimoine are an opportunity for Parisians to rediscover their region and the capital's best-known sites. With its boutiques, bars, restaurants and cinema, Bercy Village has become a popular shopping destination for Parisians. But did you know that in the 19th century, it was the world's leading wine merchant? The cellars that still stand here today bear witness to the huge wine warehouses of that era. For the Journées du Patrimoine 2023, Bercy Village will be immersing you in the district's wine-making history with free guided tours.

On September 16 and 17, 2023, take a 1h30 stroll through the Bercy district, where past and present meet. This small town on the banks of the Seine gradually became a placefor pleasure boating, with beautiful bourgeois residences, before becoming a commercial center known for wine transport. The historical vestiges of this past are intermingled with modern buildings that have brought this district of the 12th arrondissement back to life as a "village" in its own right.
