For Heritage Days 2026, the Château de Champs-sur-Marne presents an artistic program to be explored over the weekend of September 19–20, 2026.

As with many monuments historiques, the domaine de Champs-sur-Marne participates in the Journées du patrimoine 2026 les 19 et 20 septembre prochains, to unveil its château from the eighteenth century, a jewel of architecture thanks to its rococo interiors and its period furnishings that signal the arrival of a certain comfort in the pleasure houses of the siècle des Lumières.

On this 43rd edition of the Journées du Patrimoine, you can admire a monument that is beautifully preserved, stroll through the park and the flowering garden labeled "Jardin Remarquable", and enjoy activities for both kids and adults... In short, there’s plenty to do in this Seine-et-Marne treasure!

As every year, the Château de Champs-sur-Marne in Seine-et-Marne enchants us with a rich programmation that is both entertaining and indulgent. Curious? To explore in detail all these activities, head to the Domaine de Champs-sur-Marne on the weekend of September 21–22, 2026!

  • Bakana

    Bakana

    By the Das Arnak company

A dance show with a hair-raising Chinese pole routine pulled off with striking finesse.

Bakana is outdoor circus for everyone! Using their towering buns, three artists lift, pull, rise, support one another, nudge each other in the wrong direction and oil the gears. They claim and yield space, chase balance together—each one interdependent, interconnected, and even interspatial. Set to a rock ’n’ roll soundtrack, they humorously push their limits—and ours. Humans, creatures, funny little beings—what species are they? Bakana is a hybrid chimera, a three-headed beast of Franco-Danish-Mexican make!

This show is presented in partnership with La Ferme du Buisson, as part of European Heritage Days.

Authors: Claire Auzanneau, Cathrine Nielsen, Frida Ocampo

Performer(s): Claire Auzanneau, Olga David-Rigot and Florencia Merello or Frida Ocampo
