The Journées du Patrimoine are returning to the Paris region, bringing a wealth of cultural opportunities to every corner of Paris and Île-de-France for a weekend. This year, both one-day visitors and lifelong locals are getting ready to enjoy the 43rd edition, which promises plenty of discoveries.
This weekend of September 19–20, 2026, we’re on a mission to discover free tours, special activities, and exceptional openings inside fascinating venues of every kind. museums, monuments, major institutions, schools, châteaux, churches, fashion houses... It’s an invitation to explore Parisian heritage inside and out, to the delight of enthusiasts and the curious alike.
And right in Paris, the program is so rich that each district unfolds several ideas for special visits and unprecedented openings of venues usually closed to the public. The 15th arrondissement won’t be an exception and will proudly spotlight its treasures.
