The Triangle Tower, under construction since 2021 in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, announces a major collaboration with Summit Entertainment Ventures, the originators of the immersive "Air" experience at the top of One Vanderbilt in New York. The partnership promises a spectacular observatory and panoramic skybar at the top of the tower when it opens in the second half of 2026.

The Tour Triangle, a future 180-metre skyscraper at Porte de Versailles, is set to revolutionize the Parisian landscape. With its 91,000 m² of space, it will house offices, a hotel, a cultural and health center, local shops and a belvedere. The project, designed by the Herzog & de Meuron agency, takes on a new dimension thanks to an agreement signed with Summit Entertainment Ventures, the company behind the famous observatory at Summit One Vanderbilt in New York. You know, that incredible space made of mirrors and balloons. This partnership aims to recreate a unique immersive experience on the top four floors of the tower, offering an exceptional panorama of Paris, enriched by artistic installations.

The concept was inspired by "Air", an attraction combining design and technology that has attracted over six million visitors to New York since its opening in 2021. With its mirrors, light installations and breathtaking views, this immersive work has redefined the urban observatory experience. Paris is about to welcome a version adapted to its unique character, in a space open to all and designed to stimulate emotion and human connections.

The Tour Triangle will also include a high-end Radisson hotel, located between the 13th and 18th floors. The 128 rooms, decorated by the duo Dion & Arles, will feature balconies and spectacular views of Parisian monuments. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a skybar and panoramic restaurant, reinforcing the ambition to make the tower a must-see destination.

However, the project remains controversial. Launched in 2008 under the Bertrand Delanoë era, the Tour Triangle is dividing public and political opinion. While some see it as an opportunity for modernization and hope for local commerce, others denounce it as an energy-guzzling project at odds with current environmental issues, according to Le Parisien. Despite the criticism, the project is progressing at a steady pace, with delivery of the shell scheduled for the end of 2025.

This colossal 700 million euro project aims to position Paris as a forward-looking city, while respecting its cultural influence. Will the Tour Triangle become a new emblem of the capital? All we have to do now is wait untilsummer 2026 to find out, and perhaps plunge into an incredible experience.

Above all, the main fault to be attributed to the City of Paris would be to have compensated the exhibition center concessionaire, Viparis (a subsidiary of Unibail-Rodamco), for 263 million euros " for an unproven loss ", the report emphasized. To put it plainly, the municipality had rushed to award Viparis a new contract to use the facilities, just after terminating its concession early. As a result, the City of Paris " deprived itself of a net resource, while at the same time distorting competition for the award of the new contract ", according to the regional audit chamber.
