The RATP and SNCF networks will be subject to new disruptions this weekend of May 16–17, 2026. Several RER, Transilien and metro lines will be affected by works and interruptions; here’s everything you need to know to plan your travels.
A new weekend of maintenance on the RATP and SNCF networks in Île-de-France is planned from Saturday, 16 May to Sunday, 17 May 2026 to push ahead with Grand Paris projects, the upcoming metro line extensions, or simply keep the network in good shape. Are the works set to be heavy this time, or will the weekend be quiet?
Be aware of potential traffic disruptions and train cancellations, which often require提前 planning to avoid surprises. To find alternative routes when you need to travel, visit Transilien SNCF, where you’ll find alternative options, including regular bus services that connect to the stations.
Here's what's planned for this weekend, May 16–17, 2026
Stay tuned, as the information may be updated based on the latest updates from RATP and SNCF.
