Street art: the 2nd most beautiful fresco in France is in Val-d'Oise

Are you familiar with the Golden Street-art competition? Organized by the trompe-l-oeil.info website, this annual competition identifies the most beautiful murals in France, as voted for by Internet users. A month ago, Golden Street-art unveiled the 55 most beautiful urban works competing to become the most beautiful mural in France in 2023.

Before finding out who the future Golden Street Art 2023 would be, Internet users were invited to vote on Facebook for their favorite work, where no fewer than 16 works located in the Paris region featured in this ranking of 55 selected murals. At the end of this first stage, the competition selected the 10 murals with the most"Like" votes. In this top 10, only two works from the Paris region were still in the running. Next came the second stage of the competition, when a jury had to choose the most beautiful mural to be created in France in 2023.

Following the close of voting on February 18, the Golden Street-art competition unveiled the long-awaited results and announced the winner of the 2023 edition. The winner is street artist Seyb, for his work in Savigné-sur-Lathan, Indre-et-Loire.

Second place went to Nexer One & Slarz for their four-handed mural in Ermont, Val-d'Oise, Île-de-France (1 rue du Général Lhérillier, Ermont).

Finally, the fresco signed Aéro and located in Aurec-sur-Loire in the Haute-Loire region of France finished third in the competition. A second work from the Paris region also features in the Top 10 of France's most beautiful murals of 2023. It was created by Crey132 in Pantin (23 bis rue Auger), Seine-Saint-Denis.
