Michel Cordes, an actor best known for the role of Roland Marci in Plus Belle la Vie, was found shot dead in his home in Grabels, in the Hérault region of France, this Friday, May 5. An investigation was opened, but no trace of blow or break-in was found.
Seen in more than 4,500 episodes of the cult soap opera Plus Belle la Vie, Michel Cordes played the boss of Mistral, the bar named after the fictional district of Marseille where the series was set. He held this role from 2004 to 2022. The many actors who played alongside him have paid tribute to him: Jérôme Bertin, Pierre Marto, Stéphanie Pareja or Fabienne Cara.
