So, to make sure you don't go wrong and enjoy the best butter croissants around, competitions are multiplying. After a major competition for a bakery-patisserie in the capital's 19th arrondissement, it's nowEssonne 's turn to unveil the results of the department's best butter croissant competition.
The results of the competition were unveiled this summer by the Chambre de Métiers et de l'Artisanat du 91. And it's in Gometz-la-Ville that you'll have to go to taste the best butter croissant in Essonne 2023. Artisan Frédéric Dias of the Boulangerie"Le Moulin de Gometz" won the competition in the"Entrepreneurs" category.
In the"Employees" category, Alyssia Coucal from Boulangerie Maison Pottier in Marcoussis took first prize, while Quentin Ringot, also from Boulangerie Maison Pottier in Marcoussis, took first place in the"Apprentices" category.

The prize for the best butter croissant was also awarded in the Greater Paris and Yvelines departments.
