While the CGT has called a strike at the RATP from February 5 to September 9, a local industrial action at the SNCF is likely to disrupt RER B train services on February 1, 2024.
This Thursday, RER B users will have to be patient, as a strike has been announced on this busy line of the RER network. The consequences? " Traffic on line B will be disrupted on Thursday, February 1, 2024 ", reads the Transilien website.
So what exactly can we expect on Thursday, February 1? The northern part of RER line B, managed by SNCF, will be more affected than the southern part, operated by RATP. So expect 1 train out of 2 on the northern part of the line, between Gare du Nord and Aéroport Charles de Gaulle / Mitry-Claye, and 3 trains out of 4 on the southern part of the line, between Gare du Nord and Robinson / St-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, all day long.

Transilien adds that the interconnection will be maintained at Gare du Nord. " A change of train will not be necessary " says Transilien.
