The 84th edition of Paris-Nice kicks off this Sunday, March 8, 2026 in Achères. The race course weaves through several towns across Yvelines, as well as parts of Val-d'Oise, Essonne, and Seine-et-Marne. Starting from Friday, March 6, there will be restrictions on traffic and parking. Here’s everything you need to know!
The organization of the Paris-Nice race will lead to restrictions along the route. Residents are advised to plan ahead by moving their vehicles on Friday evening, especially in streets directly affected. Some streets will be closed only during the passage of the cyclists, while others will remain inaccessible throughout the weekend.
Special measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of both runners and spectators. Only emergency vehicles will be permitted to operate on the routes.

The first stage of the Paris-Nice race will pass through several towns and villages. Here is the list of municipalities affected by the traffic restrictions:
In Poissy, several streets—including Saint Sébastien, Georges-Constanti, Devaux Boulevard, Ursulines Avenue, Tournelle Street, and Maladrerie Avenue—will be closed from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. To help drivers adjust, parking will be free in all paid zones of the city during this time.
In Chanteloup-les-Vignes, no parking will be allowed on March 8 from midnight to 6 p.m. along Andrésy Street, General Leclerc Street, and Hautil Avenue.
In Andrésy on Sunday, March 8, traffic will be restricted from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on several routes, including RD 55, with parking prohibited from midnight until 6 p.m.
Traffic will be banned from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and parking will be restricted from midnight to 6 p.m. along RD 119 (from RD 119/RD 198 to the Carrefour de l’Estandart / Rue de la République), Rue de la République, RD 119 – Route de Marcq, Rue du Bois, and Route de Saulx-Marchais.
Additionally, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., parking will be prohibited from midnight to 2:30 p.m. on Rue du Bois, Route de Saulx-Marchais, Rue du Château d’Eau, Chemin de la Petite Mare, RD 11 – La ferme de l’Orme, and Rue de la Petite Mare/Route de Saulx-Marchais.
To make sure you're not caught unawares, be sure to check the information signs on the roads, and the official announcements from town halls. Updates will also be available on social networks and institutional websites.
Residents and visitors are advised to keep abreast of the restrictions specific to each commune crossed by the race. Prefer to travel on foot or by bike, and use the parking lots provided to minimize disruption.
