A serious accident in Maisons-Alfort in the Val-de-Marne region of France has disrupted traffic on the RER D line between Villeneuve Saint Georges and Paris Gare de Lyon, and on the R line between Paris Gare de Lyon and Melun. Although traffic resumed at around 7:30 a.m., major disruptions remain, with delays of up to 60 minutes, train cancellations and route modifications on both lines.

Which sectors are still disrupted on the RER D?

RER D traffic remains extremely slow between Orry la Ville and Corbeil Essonnes via Évry, and between Goussainville and Melun. Expect major delays and train cancellations.

SNCF warns on X that journey times may be extended by up to 60 minutes. Changes to the transport plan, including service cancellations, are also in force.

What's the situation on the R line?

On the R line, traffic is severely disrupted between Paris Gare de Lyon and Montargis, as well as between Paris Gare de Lyon and Montereau via Moret, in both directions. Journeys are being extended, and many trains are remaining on the platform longer than expected.
