Since Monday, April 28, 2025, viewers have had a rendez-vous with regional flavors and traditions through the 2025 edition of the " Your Most Beautiful Market " competition , orchestrated by TF1. This annual event celebrates the markets of our regions, highlighting their diversity, heritage and conviviality.
Online voting was open until Thursday May 29 at 8pm on the website . Everyone had the choice of supporting the market of their choice from among the 24 selected, representing all the major regions of France, including the French overseas departments and territories.
This Friday, May 30, Marie-Sophie Lacarrau announced the 10 finalist markets live on the 1pm news on TF1. This selection marks the start of a second phase of voting, running until June 13, to decide the winner of season 8.
Starting in the week of June 16, a super jury of three personalities and three viewers chosen in a quiz competition will meet to evaluate the finalists. Together, they will select the overall winner of the 2025 competition. Their vote will count for 30% of the final result. The winner of this eighth edition will be revealed the week of June 23.
The winning market will be revealed live during the week of June 23, on a special page of the 1 p.m. TV news, and will join the already prestigious list of winners, including Sanary-sur-Mer, Montbrison, Dieppe, Étaples-sur-Mer, Narbonne, La Réole and Niort.
Starting next week, the 13H news on TF1 will broadcast a series of ten reports dedicated to the markets still in the running in the "Votre plus beau marché" competition. This will be an opportunity for regional correspondents to defend their local market, highlighting the merchants, products and atmosphere that bring these emblematic city-center locations to life. Public voting closes at 8pm on June 13.
