Which market won the 2025 edition of TF1's "Your most beautiful market" competition? After several weeks of voting and a final decision by the super jury, the result was announced on June 13. A town in Languedoc-Roussillon was the surprise winner.

The Halles market in Béziers, located in the city's historic center, has just won the eighth season of the"Your most beautiful market" competition, succeeding Niort, the 2024 winner. The Baltard-style building, dating from 1890, was renovated in 2024. Open every day except Monday, it combines food shops and restaurants in a friendly southern atmosphere.

Why did Béziers win the competition?

The public vote, which ran from April 28 to May 30, named Les Halles de Béziers as the favorite of 24 finalist markets. A super jury comprising Évelyne Dhéliat, Jacques Legros, chef Yves Camdeborde and three television viewers confirmed this choice on June 13. The municipality of Béziers had also run a dynamic promotional campaign on social networks to mobilize votes.

Which markets complete the podium?

The Royan market (Poitou-Charentes) came second, followed by the Bergues market (Nord-Pas-de-Calais). Other regional markets such as Loches, Sélestat and Saint-Pierre in La Réunion also feature in the top 10.
