Filming of "Lupin" in Paris: traffic restrictions announced for Thursday

Due to the filming in Paris of the TV series "Lupin", the Prefecture de Police has issued several orders modifying traffic in several streets of the capital this Thursday, August 21, 2025. Find out more about these traffic bans.

Fans of " Lupin " are all smiles. The famous series has officially been renewed for a Season 4, and filming on the 21st-century gentleman burglar, played by Omar Sy, has already begun in the capital.

This Thursday, August 21, 2025, several scenes are scheduled to take place in the center of Paris, as well as in the 16th arrondissement. As a result, the Préfecture de Police has issued a number of orders temporarily modifying traffic regulations in several of the capital's thoroughfares. The aim? To ensure the smooth running of the film shoot.

In detail, all motor vehicles will be banned from the roads this Thursday, August 21, 2025:

  • Between 9am and 12pm, rue Beethoven, in the 16th arrondissement.

  • Between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., rue des Petits Frères in central Paris.

  • Between 2pm and 5pm, in the following streets and sections of streets in Paris Centre:
    • Rue La Vrillière,
    • Rue Catinat,
    • Rue Croix des Petits Champs,
    • Rue du Colonel Driant, between rue de Valois and rue du Bouloi.

  • Between 2pm and 5pm, place de la Bourse, between rue du Quatre-Septembre and rue Réaumur in central Paris.

  • Between 3pm and 11pm, place des Victoires and rue la Feuillade.

  • Between 5pm and 11pm, rue Croix des Petits Champs, between rue La Vrillière and place des Victoires.

" The vehicles used to commit these offences may be immobilized and impounded ," states the Paris Prefecture of Police in its order.
