Please note that for users of line 6 of the Paris metro, the RATP has announced that service will be interrupted on part of the line for around ten days, resulting in the closure of around ten stations. Here is an overview of the alternatives.

Onpublic transport lines in Paris, work carried out by the RATP regularly causes disruptions that can impact users' journeys. If you are a regular user of line 6 or plan to take it soon, you may be particularly affected during theAll Saints' Day holiday .

UntilOctober 30, 2025, for a period of 10 days, service will be completely suspended on part of line 6, between the Place d'Italie and La Motte-Picquet - Grenelle stations. This section, which connects the 13th arrondissement of Paris to the 15th while serving the Montparnasse station, will therefore not be in service. This means that around ten metro stations will not be accessible via line 6. This closure is due to modernization work.

So what alternatives are available to users? The RATP has set up replacement buses to serve the affected stops. Some lines may also allow you to reach a few connecting stations, particularly in the Montparnasse district, which is accessible via lines 4, 12, and 13. Navigation apps such as RATP, City Mapper , and Google Maps can help you adapt and optimize your journeys during this period.
