Tour de France: Thoiry Zoo entry at €10 and the château open for visits during the final stage.

This Sunday, July 26, 2026, the final stage of the Tour de France bows out from Thoiry before reaching the Champs-Élysées. To mark the occasion, the race village is set up at the foot of the castle, right beside Wow Safari Thoiry, which is offering a special 10-euro, family-friendly entry to explore the park on foot before the riders head off.

The final stage of Tour de France will kick off on Sunday, July 26, 2026 from the Yvelines, in the town of Thoiry, before threading its way to Paris and the Champs-Élysées. For the occasion, a host of animations are planned to keep cycling fans entertained ahead of the riders’ afternoon start. The race village sits right in front of the Château de Thoiry, adjacent to the famous zoo, which is offering a substantial discount on its rates to enjoy with family.

The walking park (not including the Car Safari) at Wow Safari Thoiry will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., at a single price of 10 euros for adults and children alike, with access to the zoological trails, playgrounds, family activities and the bush truck (a 10-euro surcharge per person for the last option, booked at the tills). Normally, admission runs 30 euros, or 21 euros for children under 11, at the lowest rate.

The Château de Thoiry, a listed historic monument, will be exceptionally open for tours from 11:00 to 13:00 and then from 14:00 to 19:00 for the event. Tickets cost €2.50 for zoo visitors with a day pass and €5 for a tour of the castle alone.

Please note that the main parking lot is entirely reserved for the Tour de France, so the commune of Thoiry is setting up temporary parking in the village.
