On Sunday 26 July 2026, the Tour de France will close this edition, with its traditional stage starting in the Île-de-France region, finishing on the Champs-Elysées. This year, the 21st and final stage kicks off from the Château de Thoiry, in the heart of the Yvelines, after weeks of fierce battles on roads across the country. But that isn’t the only city where cycling fans will have a chance to catch sight of the riders!
Starting from the Yvelines, the Tour also whizzes through the Hauts-de-Seine before sweeping into Paris from the south and tackling Montmartre for some spectacular final kilometers. Could your town be among the fortunate ones to host a stage this year? A word of warning: if it is, plan ahead, because there will be traffic and parking challenges for cars.
Come as early as you can to settle in comfortably along the course and cheer on the runners later in the day!
