The Moulin Rouge is marking the Tour de France 2026’s stop in Montmartre with a free French Cancan, on Sunday, July 26 at 5:30 p.m., at Place Blanche, before the three ascents of Rue Lepic.

This Sunday, July 26, 2026, the riders in the final stage of the Tour de France will thread their way through Paris from Montmartre to the Champs-Élysées. To mark the peloton’s passage through the 18th arrondissement, the Moulin Rouge dancers will stage a free French Cancan performance at 5:30 p.m., Place Blanche.

Stretching 132.5 kilometers, the 21st stage starts in Thoiry, in the Yvelines, before winding its way to the capital. As in 2025, the route features Montmartre’s Butte, added following the striking images from the cycling event at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The riders must tackle Lepic Street three times before pressing on toward the finish on the Champs-Élysées, located roughly fifteen kilometers from the Sacré-Cœur.

Before the cyclists roll past, the crowd gathered in front of the cabaret can enjoy the French Cancan performed by dancers in their tricolor costumes. This outdoor performance resonates with the Moulin Rouge’s identity and the history of this dance tied to the Montmartre neighborhood.

The show is slated to begin at 5:30 p.m. on Place Blanche, with the peloton's passage through the area expected later in the early evening. Access to this brief performance is free, subject to space on the square. The final arrival of the 2026 Tour de France on the Champs-Élysées is expected between 7:30 p.m. and 7:50 p.m.
