After three weeks of clocking up the kilometers, the riders of the Tour de France 2026 return to Paris for the final stage. On the menu: a detour through Montmartre, the sprint back along the Champs-Élysées and the last laps before the verdict. Naturally, the areas around the course are expected to be swamped. To stay a step ahead of the crowds, the Arc de Triomphe offers a lofty vantage point on the finish.
On Sunday, July 26, visitors will be able to access the forecourt and the monument’s panoramic terrace from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.. From up there, the view looks straight onto the peloton's moves and the finish line. The first riders are expected around 6:00 p.m., ahead of the final sprint anticipated around 7:30 p.m.. Complimentary drinks, canapés, and Centre des monuments nationaux goodies are also planned.
Expect to pay €150 per person to land this pole-position ticket. The reservation is mandatory, subject to availability, on the Arc de Triomphe’s official site: Arc de Triomphe.
A small warm-up before reaching the summit: the elevator is currently undergoing maintenance. Access to the terrace is therefore, for the moment, only via stairs, namely 284 steps to climb. People with reduced mobility will, however, be able to benefit from a dedicated arrangement during the event.
