Due to the arrival of the Tour de France, scheduled on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, and the three climbs of Montmartre Hill, several metro stations will be closed on July 26, 2026. Here is the rundown of disruptions expected on Paris public transport this Sunday.

As tradition dictates, the 21st and final stage of the Tour de France will take place on the legendary Champs-Élysées. However, to ensure the smooth running of the arrival and the final stage of the Tour de France in Paris, the Préfecture de police has issued an order to implement traffic and parking restrictions.

On the public transport front, the RATP says, at the request of the Police Prefect, that several metro stations will be closed this Sunday, July 26, including Tuileries, Charles de Gaulle–Étoile, Concorde, Villiers, and Place de Clichy. For all affected stations, trains will run without stopping and connections will not be guaranteed. "The reopening of the stations will be ordered by the Police Prefect," the RATP confirms. Note that the Montmartre funicular will also be out of service this Sunday from 1:00 PM.
