The line 13 isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but who knows, perhaps with its automation, Parisians will warm to it in a few years? But until it joins its sisters on lines 1, 14 or 4, it will require several years of works and some inconvenience for riders. While the line 12 is facing evening interruptions to prepare for the arrival of the MF19, on the 13 side it will be more of a Sunday morning affair!
The RATP has unveiled the timetable for traffic disruptions for 2026, extending through December. In addition, a replacement bus service will operate between the Asnières Gennevilliers Les Courtilles and Porte de Clichy stations for residents on that side of the line.
Before it is automated, the line will receive an all-new rolling stock, which will also be deployed on its neighboring line to boost passenger comfort. Several Sundays each month will therefore see a closure until noon, from May through December 2026.
